If you appreciate handmade, individually designed products that are not available on the high street, then you have come to the right place!
Funky Mosaics was created to make available more widely our mosaic decorative items for the home and garden. These include: House Numbers, mirrors, wall plaques and hanging hearts.
All our products are made by us in our small workshops in Sussex , UK. Some may take many hours to complete, the majority take several days from design, to grouting to finishing to photographing! We only use the best materials available and to the highest possible standards. Our mirrors are either on a ply or Mdf base which have been painted or stained on the reverse and edges. Most of our garden wall plaques are made from a durable weatherproof material called Corian which does not need any treatments to preserve them outside and in all weathers.These are made from offcuts which would otherwise have been thrown away.The mosaic materials themselves vary depending on the item, but include, and are not limited to: stained glass, ceramic tile, vitreous glass, gold and silver leaf, mirror, recycled glass, Italian Murano millefiori and glass gems to name a few..See individual product descriptions for details.
We make bespoke mosaic items to order. If you see something you like but would prefer a different colour combination or shape; or you have something specific in mind; please contact us so we can discuss your individual needs.
More of my items can also be found in my Etsy shop, its much easier to update things over there, so there's more choice; but as fees have increased substantially I have to charge higher prices on their site.
